Events
Accessing Events
Section titled “Accessing Events”Tap the Events tab in the bottom navigation bar to see upcoming campaign events.
Event Types
Section titled “Event Types”Events are organized by type to help you find what you’re looking for:

| Canvassing | Door-to-door voter outreach events |
| Phone Bank | Group phone calling sessions |
| Rally | Public campaign rallies and gatherings |
| Meeting | Team meetings, training sessions |
| Other | Miscellaneous campaign activities |
Viewing Event Details
Section titled “Viewing Event Details”Tap any event card to see full details:
- Date & Time - When the event starts and ends
- Location - Address with map link for directions
- Description - What to expect and what to bring
- Attendees - How many people have signed up
Signing Up for Events
Section titled “Signing Up for Events”- Open the event you want to attend
- Tap the “Sign Up” button
- You’ll see a confirmation that you’re registered
- The event will appear in your “My Events” list
My Events
Section titled “My Events”Use the toggle at the top of the Events screen to switch between:
- Upcoming - All future events you can attend
- My Events - Events you’ve signed up for
- Past - Completed events (for reference)
Canceling Your Signup
Section titled “Canceling Your Signup”If you can no longer attend an event:
- Open the event from your “My Events” list
- Tap the “Cancel Signup” button
- Confirm the cancellation
Event Visibility
Section titled “Event Visibility”Events have different visibility settings:
- Public - Visible on the public website and in the CEF app
- Internal - Only visible to SRP Canvass app users (team-only events)
- Both - Visible everywhere
As a canvasser, you’ll see all internal and public events in the app.
Getting Directions
Section titled “Getting Directions”Tap the Directions button or the address on any event to open it in your maps app.
Event Reminders
Section titled “Event Reminders”You’ll receive a push notification reminder before events you’ve signed up for. Make sure notifications are enabled in Settings.
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Sign up for events you can definitely attend
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early for canvassing events
- Bring your phone fully charged
- Check the event description for what to wear/bring
