My Connections

Overview

My Connections shows voters from the database who match contacts in your phone. This feature leverages the Contact Sync system to identify voters you already know personally, making outreach more natural and effective.

How It Works

Download the SRP Canvass mobile app and grant contact sync permission
The app securely matches your phone contacts against the voter database
Matched voters appear here with confidence scores
You can then reach out to voters you already have a personal connection with

Connection Table

Each matched voter shows:

Column	Description
Voter	Name and address (clickable to view detail)
Phone	Voter’s phone number
Saved As	How the voter is saved in your phone contacts
Confidence	Match confidence level (High, Medium, or Low)
District	SRP district number
Party	Party affiliation
Result	Current canvass result, if any
Assigned	Whether this voter is assigned to you

Confidence Levels

Level	Color	Meaning
High	Green	Strong match—name and phone number both match
Medium	Yellow	Partial match—phone number matches but name differs slightly
Low	Gray	Weak match—may be a coincidence, verify before reaching out

Filtering

Search	Voter name or address
Confidence	High, Medium, or Low
Assignment	Assigned or Unassigned

Statistics

Three summary cards at the top show:

Total Connections - All matched voters
High Confidence - Strong matches worth prioritizing
Assigned to You - Voters formally assigned to your list

Best Practices

Start with high-confidence matches - These are people you genuinely know
Verify before reaching out - Confirm the match is correct, especially for medium/low confidence
Use the personal connection - A conversation with someone you know is more effective than a cold call
Record results - After reaching out, update the voter’s canvass result in the system
