CEF Requests
Overview
Section titled “Overview”When Clean Energy Friends (CEF) users want to upgrade to the full SRP Canvass app, they submit an upgrade request. This page lets you review, approve, or reject those requests. Approved users receive an invite code to sign up for the full app.
Statistics
Section titled “Statistics”| Stat | Description |

| Total Requests | All upgrade requests received |
| Pending | Requests awaiting your review (highlighted) |
| Approved | Requests you’ve approved |
| Rejected | Requests you’ve declined |
Request Table
Section titled “Request Table”Each request shows:
- Name - The user’s name
- Email - Email address for follow-up
- Phone - Phone number
- Reason - Why they want to upgrade
- Status - Pending, Approved, or Rejected badge
- Invite Code - Generated code (shown for approved requests)
- Requested - When the request was submitted
Managing Requests
Section titled “Managing Requests”Approving a Request
Section titled “Approving a Request”- Review the request details
- Click Approve on the request row
- An invite code is automatically generated
- The user receives the code to sign up for the full app
Rejecting a Request
Section titled “Rejecting a Request”- Click Reject on the request row
- Optionally provide a reason for rejection
Bulk Actions
Section titled “Bulk Actions”For handling multiple pending requests at once:
- Approve All - Approves all selected pending requests, generating individual invite codes for each
- Reject All - Rejects all selected pending requests
Use the checkboxes to select specific requests, or use bulk actions for all pending items.
Viewing Details
Section titled “Viewing Details”Click View Details on any request to see:
- Full request information
- Approval or rejection details
- Generated invite code
- Who approved/rejected and when
Invite Code Generation
Section titled “Invite Code Generation”When a request is approved, the system automatically generates an 8-character alphanumeric invite code. The code:
- Is unique to that request
- Can be used once to sign up for the full SRP Canvass app
- Excludes confusing characters (0, O, 1, l) for clarity
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Review pending requests daily to keep wait times short
- Check the user’s CEF activity before approving—users with more contacts are better candidates
- Use bulk approve for event-driven signup surges
- Follow up with approved users who haven’t redeemed their invite code
